Variations in Shade & Finish
The products fall within 4 categories:
As a result of recent
advancements in production
technology, subtle shade
variations can be achieved to
create a distinctive and
natural appearance. The
degree of variations in shade
and finish may vary from tile
to tile. This is an intended
effect, designed to enhance
the aesthetic characteristics of
the tile itself. To illustrate this,
a scale has been created to
communicate the
degree of variation intended:
LOW A more uniform appearance and minimal variation in shade from
tiles from the same production batch.
MODERATE While there is a degree of consistency in the colour, texture or
pattern between tiles, there may be subtle differences in shade.
HIGH Distinctive variations in shade, colour and texture giving a more
distinctive pattern.
RANDOM Clearly distinguishable differences in shade, colour and texture
so one tile may have a totally different appearance from that of other tiles.
Please note: You should always purchase project quantities in one go to
minimise variation in batches
